History Of The Boombox (Please forgive me! my last post was Dec 2009)

I've been making excuses for almost a year now sorta like "I have so much going on that I don't have time to blog" wrong! I'm not a fortune 500 CEO and they have time to blog (maybe it's an assistant using the CEO's name as a pseudonym) so damnit I have to do better. It's kind of sad because once upon a time I had a nice following. Oh I know....everyone and their mama had a blog after they figured out they could sync with twitter....oh yeah twitter...it was much better when it was underground now people labeled as stars use it to prove how ordinary they really are.

Speaking of underground I found this clip on the history of the boombox! The blessing of being in the mid 30's range is we were there for the beginning of everything that is Hip Hop so I completely spaz out watching this video. There are a bunch of "ooooh I remember that one....Damn that must have been only sold in New York cuz I've never seen it in South Georgia... Word to the Run Dmc tape that jammed in my cousin fairly new Lasonic while in a break dancing competition on Walker Springs Rd circa 1987.....Enjoy!
