So watching this video of a cat disrepecting Fela! (according to Day Day)
It's great to see my man Sahr representing Fela to the fullest here:
and here:
He also Co-Directed this video with me:
Sahr is a great actor to say the least and an even better person! If you are in New York be sure to check felaoffbroadway.com and cop tickets. I do believe they are headed to Broadway with the show soon or atleast I hope they are.

This is Tony D
If it wasn't for him we would have never experienced this Gem:
Poor Righteous Teachers - Shayilah
I can't front I was a HUGE P.R.T fan (still am), but I never knew who Tony D was and that he produced from not only P.R.T, but my man YZ and countless others.
YZ - In Control Of Things

Hey ma! from now on I want you to call me Gigolo Tony.....what does Gigolo mean anyway? - me at 12(or so)
If you are in your early 30's and from Alabama, Georgia or Florida and don't know who Gigolo Tony is then swim in a sharks mouth. This song was an instant classic. Anytime you can say whatever pops in your head while recording and it sounds good can be nothing less than a classic.
'My ma'ma, yo ma'ma hangin out clothes, my ma'am socked yo ma'ma in the nose. Did it hurt?' - Gigolo Tony
Gigolo Tony - Smurf Rock

It was 1980 something and I was putting in a lot of work with my cousins (and the beautiful Carol Ann) for the local talent show at The Blakely G.A Civic Center a.k.a The Cenna. I was prepared to lip sync my ass off to Everybody Say Yeah, but I still needed outfits for the crew.....Maxway downtown! that's the ticket and there was no better unisex material than that of spandex. I was decked out in black spandex with the yellow stripe on the side and the shirt to match. I was COOOLD BLOODED, but this post is not about me it's about Le Juan Love.....Where is he today?

I found this gem courtesy of the Bay area pioneers of Hip Hop Slam (site hasn't been updated since 2007) where they are interviewing the green eyed bandit a.k.a Erick Sermon a.k.a the original I'm jumping out the window with this one. In this 1st of two clips he shows some turntablism I'm assuming he picked up from Dj Scratch and he also shows some Olympic worthy skating when asked about the E.rick A.nd P.arrish M.aking D.ollars break up. 16yrs later it's apparent that E Double was the brains of the organization as he was able to maintain some solo limelight for the majority of seperation, but I am still I fan of the duo first! Pick up the new EPMD album and support the legends of this culture.
Surprise.......

“Heclif Huxtable”.
This is the 1st record I recorded just on an emotion of wanting more from our younger generation I call it “Heclif Huxtable”. Its a song that feels different but not too unfamiliar to today’s music. Ironically the message is about being grown. click the link listen and ENJOY!

JuLife 2nd
"Billionaire Bound"
I recorded this song with one thing in mind, MONEY. We all have aspirations of making more money than we have now. Its very ironic that the life we “spend” searching for funds to taste the good life, will not fill any voids we “think” we have. In the hook you hear me say “I’m a B-Boy” or Im a billionaire boy thats the chant, I guarantee by the end of the song your mind will be Wowed. Oh by the way I produced this one myself (Production of Education LLC) click the link and Enjoy!

A lot of people are going to swear i do hard drugs with this record. I beg you guys to listen close to what im saying and how I sound, I give to your ears CRACK RAP.

*sidenote* this song is not able selling crack in any way!
JuLife 4th
"My Lane My Riding Music"
This song is about me as an artist being ABLE to make music just to fit in and make quick money, but each time I try to drive in that direction, I still end up driving in my own lane. So I named the song just that Enjoy

"The Way That I Flow"
I was feeling really upset this July 4th man. I had a show and people were pro underground I WILL NEVER consider myself that ( not trying to diss) but i feel like I relate a lil better than that. So I went into the nite after the fireworks and created a song that explained my frustrations its called:

"So Fly pt.2"
When I heard this track and I went right into a 70’s mode. The texture of this instrumental inspired my flow, its like im “Macking” the music. On top of that when you think of the 70’s you think of how fly they were so I give to your ears:

Ok, it's 1994 I was in the Air Force (mentioned before)so my money was low often(thank God we had ATM that we couldl take $5 out at a time) which left me with an extremely small budget to buy vinyl. When I was able to buy a few pieces I will scracth them to death! This song was one of the few in my collection, but I had to buy it after seeing the Bush Babees perform at the On The Street Peace concert in Downtown Memphis more on that later. These emcees were/are nice, so nice that I stole one of the kids name as an A.K.A and went on to use it on Blackplanet waaay back in 2001 or so (babyface_kaos).
What really killed me was the fact that I had a 24 sec sampler that I purchased from Upstairs records in NY that i used to ahhhh......sample. Anyway on this record I had a dope sample that went "Rappers just rap, but emcees get props" that I played with for sometime with my Roland drum machine, but was highly pissed when KRS-ONE stole my idea and rocked it with those sewer boys. DAMNIT!!!
Oh yeah....Where are they now?
