A really FRESH documentary on Breakin a.k.a B-Boying

By Antonio Starr on Wednesday, October 01, 2008
This is one of my favorite documentaries so far! I was never a breaker, but my cousin used to be the illest uprocking and pop locker in South Georgia.

This documentary is entitled The Freshest Kids and it's produced by the Hip Hop documentarian (is that a word?)himself QD3. I will say that it is rather lengthy, but the inspiration it provides it timeless. It's exciting to watch the inception, rise, brief fall and the ultimate preservation of the art of breakin'. Enjoy!

I was very surprised to see that the funny man Pauly Shore was a B-Boy!!

I tried spinning on my head one time when I was about 10 or so and thought I snapped my spine in half. At that point I said "I might try pop locking but that's it!!"
